This page gives an overview of the HSM Attest solution architecture and runtime.
HSM Attest vs CCHSM
HSM Attest is the complete solution architecture including interfaces to third party components required for operation of an HSM Attest solution.
CCHSM is the product set of deliverable components that HSM Attest delivers.
HSM Attest Component Model
This diagram shows the main components of a system running with HSM Attest.
- Green marks runtime components of HSM Attest - these together with the tools image below make up the CCHSM Product
- Blue is a tools container that can be used by Systems operators to administrate an HSM Attest deployment.
- Yellow are components specific to a system holding external HSM storage objects and other system-specific configuration. Used by runtime and created/managed by the System Owner/Administrator.
- Red is the administrator responsible for System setup and maintenance working on behalf of the system owner.
- Purple is application code implementing the system that uses the sensitive data protected by the HSM.
